- I know that we use (main-I) (muhje-me). But sometimes we use muhje as I how is that. When should I use Muhje as I.?

Has somebody answer for this

eksempel. Muhje pta hai. Why not main pta hai.?
WordmasterSunday 25th of February 2007 02:18:15 AM
- Hey nice21boy, thats a hard question right there but ill try to answer it :D

Mujhe as u said is \"me\", it refers to oneself and is used as an object of a sentence. Therefore it can be understood as \"to me\".

Pta is an irregular sort of verb which means something like \"is known\", while jaan-na is the proper verb which means \"to know\".

All proper verbs have the basic na form, like khana, pina, sona. (Eat, drink, sleep).

Pta is an irregualr verb without a na form. As i said its meaning is \"is known\", therefore if ur trying to say \"I know\" in urdu

Mujhe Pta hai = \"to me\" \"is known\" - correct
Main Pta hai = \"I\" \"is known\" - wrong
Main Jaanta hu = \"I\" \"know\" - correct
Mujhe jaanta hu = \"I\" \"is known\" - wrong

hope that helped a little but :D
