Is anyone interested in a word game? - I have seen that in the forum for my native language, they are playing a word game, and I think this is a good way for the learners to get some feedback from native speakers.

The wordgame is very simple. We simply give a word for the next person to use in a sentence. The next person writes a sentence in Vietnamese using the word and provides a new word for the next person. Please write English translations of the sentences and the new words. It will help the rest of us understand what is being said, or what was attempted at being said.

So are there any learners out there interested in this?
And are there any native speakers, who would correct our mistakes (or make sentences themselves)?

We might as well go alphabetically, so I'll start with
"ăn" = to eat

Em sẽ làm cái mới ngay sau khi em ăn tối xong
(I will make a new one as soon as I have finished eating dinner)

The next word is: buồn = to be sad

- Em buòn anh khong hieu
(ima sad u dont understand[female to male])

Chu=young uncle

Word game - Yuk, the forum software can't handle UTF-8. :(
E., phân mê`m cu?a diê~n ddàn này không thê? xu+? ly' UTF-8. :(
_____________
Chú có ddo.c câu này chu+a?
Have you read this sentence yet?
_____________

The Vietnamese alphabet:

a, â, a(, b, c, d, dd, e, ê, g, h, i, k, l, m, n, o, ô, o+, p, q, r, s, t, u, u+, v, x, y, z

We missed a and â, so I'll go back to a for the next word:

Á-râ.p -- Arab, Arabia, Arabian
_____________

The ugly ASCII way to write Vietnamese is write the vowel first, then the accent afterwards. You can use Latin-1 here, so some single accents are available.

Hmm, good time to bother the admins about Unicode support...
