| Question words - I'm begining to learn welsh and I was wondering if anyone could tell me the basic question words: who what when why where how how much or any others you can think of. Oh and if you could include pronunciation that would be wonderful! Thank you! | |

| The question words with ex.* - now here we go: Pwy >> Who ex: Pwy ydych chi? (pooe-eddy-hee?)>>who are you (formal) Beth >> What ex: beth yw dy enw? (beth-eew-dee-enoo?) what's your name? Pam >> Why ex: Pam ydych chi'n mynd? (pam-edee-heen-mend?) why are you going? (formal) Ble >> Where O ble >> From where ex: O ble dych chi'n dod? Where are you coming from? (formal) Siwd >> How ex: Siwd ychi? (Should-ehee?) How are you? (formal) Beth am >> What about? ex: Beth am Brydain? (Breedine) What about Britain? Phew....that's all i can think about.. The pronunciation i gave is not exact and tell me if you find a mistake or two in the examples. I hope these help! Ömer | |
