I'm a uni student who loves to learn languages, as most people here on Phrasebase do. :) Foreign langauges have always fascinated me, ever since I was little and first noticed that those people standing next to me in the shopping mall were speaking a language different than mine. I think languages are fascinating, how you can say one thing in one language, but in another, it can't be expressed at all. And how which language you speak determines/influences the manner in which you think and express ideas and thoughts. And because of that, learning another language can help you to gain an understanding of the people who speak it, which is one of the most important things ever. Phrasebase rocks! lol
