Macedonian phrases
We are going to start with the most commonly used phrases when you meet someone (I borrowed this from the greetings phrases from phrasebase and I added some myself).
I tried to make the latin transcriptions as good as possible, so for phonemes that don't have a letter to represent them I improvised.
so, sh=ш
ch=ч
kj=ќ
gj=ѓ
etc
In order to know how to pronounce them exactly, check out
the macedonian alphabet(azbuka) thread.
If you have read this far, you'll probably want to know on which syllable the stress falls.
Well, aren't you lucky, in Macedonian the stress is always on the ante-penultimate syllable (or the third syllable from the end).
If the word consists of only two syllables, then the stress is on the last counting from the end.
